Trinex secures the Dudley Lithium Project – October 2024

In October 2024, Trinex Minerals Limited (ASX:TX3) signed an option agreement to acquire the highly prospective Dudley lithium project in South Australia. This is great news for Cientifica, who currently hold the western extensions to the project area and we eagerly await on ground activities by the Trinex team. 

Cientifica visits the AM2D Hub at Monash University – October 2024

In October 2024 Dr David DeTata visited the AM2D Hub joined by Dr Manas Ranjan Panda and Deverant T to present progress on the development of aqueous Zn-MnO2 battery that is sponsored by Cientifica (link). 

Zn–MnO2 batteries offer cost-effective, eco-friendly, and efficient solutions for large-scale energy storage applications.
Manas and the Monash team recently published some work in this space (https://lnkd.in/gKAEQATC), and now the team are busy developing new advances on these exciting batteries.

AM2D Collaboration yields first publication – March 2024

In August 2022 Cientifica joined the AM2D ARC Research Hub as a Research Partner, supporting a research project entitled “Prototype Development of Aqueous Zn-MnO2 Batteries”. In the year since the project began we are proud to present the first of what we believe will be many original research publications. The paper, titled “Acidity-Aided Surface Modification Strategy to Enhance In Situ MnO2 Deposition for High Performance Zn-MnO2 Battery Prototypes” is summarised on the AM2D Publications page and is available here. This is an exceptional achievement by the Monash led team and we look forward to the next phase of research in anticipation of one day seeing Zn-MnO2 batteries become common place in large-scale energy storage applications.

Cientifica heads to Kangaroo Island – March 2024

Cientifica’s Principal Geologist Nick Burn headed to the South Australian Core library to inspect historical drill core from the Dudley Project before completing an initial site visit to Kangaroo Island as part of initial exploration across the project area. The week long field trip only increased our view of the potential of the project to host lithium mineralisation and discussions are already underway with potential funding partners.  

South Australia’s Discovery Day highlights Dudley Lithium Project – November 2023

The 2023 Discovery Day hosted by the South Australian Geological Survey focused on the theme New frontiers: transforming data and exploration. A great presentation by Dr Jarred Lloyd titled “Lithium potential of South Australia and advances in geochronology” highlighted the potential for the Dudley Lithium project to host an economic lithium deposit – great work Jarred! Cardihab recipient in $3.7M funding pool through ANDHealth+ program – March 2023

Cardihab has recently been announced as one of four successful digital health companies awarded a share of $3.7M from the Australian Government’s Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF).  The funds are being invested into high-growth potential digital health companies, supporting them to develop and release new products and expand into global markets, through digital health commercialisation program, ANDHealth+.  To read the full article see click here.

Cardihab developing intuitive AI driven analytics solution set to revolutionise patient care – March 2023

CardiHab was recently awarded $782,768 in matched funding from the Australian Government’s Entrepreneurs’ Programme – Accelerating Commercialisation, to further develop data analytics capabilities and products within the Cardihab ecosystem under the product name C.R.O.P.S—Cardiac Rehabilitation Outcomes and Process Synopsis – see the article here.

Cientifica joins the Hydrogen Society of Australia – February 2023

The Hydrogen Society of Australia is dedicated to promoting the significance of hydrogen as a clean fuel and energy stroage solution; increasing the visibility and use of hydrogen. Cientifica has joined alongside major supporters including Innovate Australia, Woodside and Siemens and looks forward to leading the world towards a clean energy future.

Cientifica joins ARC Industrial Transformation Research Hub – August 2022

The ARC Research Hub for Advanced Manufacturing with 2D Materials (AM2D) aims to provide a sophisticated environment for researchers and an industrial translation platform for manufacturers. Cientifica has joined alongside CSIRO, Monash University and graphene technology companies and has sponsored a research project “To develop a prototype of a new class of rechargeable aqueous Zn-MnO2 battery”. 

Cardihab in the news – May 2022

Carrara Range Battery Metal Project SOLD – February 2022

In February 2022 Cientifica announced a binding term sheet with Resolution Minerals Ltd (ASX:RML) for the sale of the Carrara Range and South Lawn Hill Projects. This was a outstanding result for Cientifica and we will watch with great interest as exploration begins across RML’s Northern Territory projects …. Check it out below.
